A 75 year old male patient came into the clinic complaining about dizziness. The patient told me he feels his head is not clear, often feels as though something is pulling at the back of his head, and sometimes he feels nauseated. A couple days before, when he was standing up from the toilet, he fainted due to sudden dizziness and was taken to the ER. His MRI and other tests did not find any abnormality. However, he constantly had a stuffy chest, nausea, dizziness, and experienced migraines. So he decided to come in to the IC Oriental Medicine Clinic to resolve his symptoms.

He was also suffering from not only headache and dizziness, but also frequent urination. He was taking medication for his heart, lungs, blood pressure, a stomach ulcer, and for his urination.

So, we used liver tonifying acupuncture points to treat dizziness and bladder tonifying acupuncture points for his urination problem. After 2 sessions of acupuncture treatment, his dizziness almost resolved, and after 3 more acupuncture treatment, his dizziness was completely resolved. After that he was continuously receiving oriental medicine treatment, which includes acupuncture and herbal decoction, and his frequent urination symptoms were resolved as well.
