Many couples try this procedure with high hopes, but the success rate of the 1st IUI procedure is

only 10 -15%.

Therefore, getting oriental medicine care BEFORE getting an IUI procedure to increase the chance

of fertilization is very important.

WHY DO I NEED AN ORIENTAL MEDICINE TREATMENT PRIOR TO IUI?

In order to increase your chances of success, you not only need to focus on the health of your eggs and sperm but implantation and prevention of miscarriage is very important as well.

With a systematic oriental medicine treatment, you can increase your chances of fertilization, implantation without using any chemical to the body.

TREATMENT FOR MOTHER

The key factor to increase the fertilization success rate is the “quality of the egg”. If the quality of the egg isn’t in good condition, even if it is fertilized, implantation might fail, or, even if implantation does happen, a miscarriage could occur.

​Another important factor is the “condition of endometrium”. A healthy endometrium can lead to a healthy implantation. Therefore, it is very important to create a healthy environment before doing the IUI procedure.

It is recommended to start our “IUI Preparation Program” 3 - 6 months before getting an IUI procedure. Often times patients get pregnant during the program! So it is very recommended to seek help from Oriental Medicine before IUI procedures.

TREATMENT FOR FATHER

Even though sperm will be inserted inside the uterus, the sperm still have to travel to meet the egg and be implanted.

This means more sperm (more healthy sperm in the normal range) will increase your chances of successful implantation, therefore, it is important for men to also take care of their body. 

 

Because sperm takes three months to mature, it is recommended to start the “IUI Preparation Program” at least three months before getting an IUI procedure.
